The “Kraut und Rüben” cycle path
If you also dream about a wonderful landscape, friendly people, fascinating visits to farms and interesting information about the agriculture of our region, then explore the 139 km long “Kraut und Rüben” cycle path by bicycle. This path stretches through the sunshine from Bockenheim to the “Deutsches Weintor” via Weisenheim am Sand, Gönnheim, Hassloch, Neustadt-Duttweiler, Zeiskam, Offenbach, Herxheim, Kandel and Schweigen-Rechtenbach.
The Bellheim Lido
The facilities include a 50 meter long swimming pool, a spacious diving pool with 5 m and 3 m diving boards, a large pool for non-swimmers with fun areas and massage jets. The highlight of the Lido is the recently renovated children’s paddling pool and the sensational new 69 metre water slide. The three-track racer slide is unique of its kind in Germany.
Landgut Dreihof Golf Course
Play the 27 hole course on the southern edge of the Weinstrasse. Situated on the edge of the Pfälzer Wald and surrounded by world-famous wine estates in the picturesque landscape where Rheinland-Pfalz is almost Mediterranean. As a result of its mild climate boasting approximately 1,800 hours of sunshine per year, it is also called “Germany’s Tuscany”. A 9 hole public course and an extensive driving range with lawns and 24 covered tees await you.
